IVR

What is IVR?
Have you ever used your phone to check your bank account or order train tickets? Have you ever completed a survey over the phone or received a phone message from a political candidate? If you answered yes to any of these then chances are you have already used an IVR. IVR (Interactive Voice Response) is the technology that allows you to interact with your customers over the phone without the need for a live speaking person.

For over 5 years, Abound has developed custom IVR applications that serve thousands of individuals and businesses. A great example is the statewide voice system in New York that we developed for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. It allows over 900 heating oil companies that participate in the HEAP program to interact with an automated phone attendant to retrieve their daily pricing information.

We developed all of our IVR applications on the VoiceXML compliant Plum Voice platform. Many of these are mission critical systems that have been running for years. It is from this successful collaboration that Plum Voice and Abound Inc agreed to a business partnership in February 2010

Message Broadcasting

We have developed automatic dialers to call or fax customers with an important message. These systems can be set up to tell the customer something unique about their account ("Your expense check for $124.50 has been mailed") by integrating your database and TTS (Text-To-Speech) for voice applications. We provide the whole solution to you by developing the systems using Java or .Net, VoiceXML and our partners for voice (Plum Voice) and fax (Interfax). We also have experience developing email and text message broadcast systems. All of these systems include toolsets for you manage tasks such as editing messages, scheduling broadcasts, and more.

 

 

 

Web Programming

We have developed enterprise applications, web services, and tools for many clients. Our consultants write code in Java as well as Microsoft's .NET platform. We also have years of experience with C/C++, CGI, Perl, and PHP. We leverage web services technologies, XML, and front-end components like Javascript and CSS in our projects. In addition to building custom web applications, our team has also developed custom features for third party web software applications such as ATG's knowledgebase product, and Clarify.
