(Interactive Voice Response) is the technology that allows you to interact with your customers over the phone without the need for a live speaking person.
For over 5 years, Abound has developed custom IVR applications that serve thousands of individuals and businesses. A great example is the statewide voice system that we developed for the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority. It allows over 900 heating oil companies that participate in the HEAP program to interact with an automated phone attendant to retrieve their daily pricing information.
We developed all of our IVR applications on the VoiceXML compliant Plum Voice platform. Many of these are mission critical systems that have been running for years. It is from this successful collaboration that Plum Voice and Abound Inc agreed to a business partnership in February 2010
